Before his time as a doctoral student at UNT, Ermir Bejo studied at the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy, Skidmore College, and the University of Louisville. A talented composer of both classical and electronic music, he researched cellular automata and composition at xREZ. Under the writing tab of his website, you can find several of his scholarly writings and publications related to music, such as Music and Psychoanalysis: The Function of Fantasy and Desire. He has been serving as director of Score Follower since 2015, working with composers, performers, recording labels, and other entities to produce score videos for contemporary music. Currently, Ermir is also a professor of composition at The Art Institute of Dallas.
