This Friday Jan. 30 come learn the 5 essential writing skills and 4 major information categories that can make you stand out in a stack of applications for scholarships, grants, fellowships and other competitive funding submissions.
GET FUNDED! is a 4-hour, hands-on experiential workshop that walks you through the most important aspects of expressing your ideas in a way that will help you earn support for your work. You’ll learn how to identify the characteristics of the audience you’re writing for, how to address the call they’ve put forth, and why what you do has meaning in a much broader context, making you more competitive.
GET FUNDED! takes place 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in The Forum at Willis Library. The workshop was established in 2014, and from its inception, seats have filled quickly. So don’t miss this chance to find out what Mario Brothers, dinosaurs and Minions have to do with grant writing in the third iteration of GET FUNDED!.
