xREZ Art + Science Lab in collaboration with the Business Council for the Arts and UNT’s College of Visual Arts and Design are excited to announce that registration for the 2017 North Texas LASER (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous) is now open! This year’s LASER topic is “Virtual is the new Real: virtual and augmented reality are transforming how we live, work and play.”

Held at the Nasher Sculpture Center on October 19th at 6 PM, the free event will host four North Texas speakers, varying from sectors of industry and academia, to discuss the topic and give attendees insight on how they use digital immersion to alter our daily lives. Beginning at 6 PM guests can mingle and enjoy light hors-d’oeuvres and refreshments, then at 6:30 PM speaker presentations will begin followed by a lively audience Q&A.

The event is free and open to the public but space is limited; be sure to register soon!
