Ruth West juries ACM SIGGRAPH 2016

Professor Ruth West is serving as a member of the ACM SIGGRAPH 2016 Art Papers Jury. The summer conference in Anaheim, California is the 43rd annual conference, held July 24-28, 2016. The conference is coupled with an exhibition in which visitors can “Get up-close and hands-on with the newest hardware systems, software tools, and creative services from hundreds of companies” during July 26-28.

SIGGRAPH presents two annual conferences in North America and Asia, “the world’s largest, most influential annual conferences on the theory and practice of computer graphics and interactive techniques, inspiring progress through education, excellence, and interaction.”

The SIGGRAPH jury’s selected papers will be published as a special issue of the MIT Leonardo Journal of the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology during 2016.
