Artificial Sugar Crystals

Description of Work: Using a polarized light microscope, I’m focusing on the dichotomy between artificial sweetener as an alternative to sugar and the chemicals within these artificial sweeteners that can cause serious health issues. The way I approach my work is to convey a message that is relatable but with an allure that reaches beyond just a purely scientific image.
