xREZ opens its new doors to the public for the first time ever!

We’re thrilled to have had the chance to meet our community during the CVAD new Art Buildling grand opening! During the open house we showed faculty, current students and future UNT students #WhoWeAre and #WhatWeDo in the realm of art + science. Over 200 people got a chance to test drive our interactive #VR installations ATLAS in silico and Instrument ? One Antarctic Night and learn about other xREZ research in human-computer interaction and 3D segmentation. Guests also got to demo a virtual rock climbing experience, and learn about the research conducted on interaction design and its effect on presence using the game.
