Professor Ruth West is confirmed as the 2018-2019 Chair Elect of the Leonardo Education and Art Forum (LEAF), announced Aug. 3, 2016. LEAF is an educational art association aimed at championing art + science research and education internationally.
“I genuinely feel honored that the community selected me,” West said. “I’m looking forward to working with everyone and continuing on all the things the community has done.”
Dr. West will spend 2017 learning the LEAF Chair process from J.D. Talasek, Director of Cultural Programs at the National Academies of Science, before assuming her chair position.
